When the International Boat Show takes place in Fort Lauderdale from October 25 to 29, the mayor of the American coastal metropolis likes to talk about the show having an economic impact on the city as if it were chosen as the site for the Super Bowl.

On site, about an hour’s drive north of Miami, more than 1,300 boats and yachts with a total value of over three billion US dollars are presented at seven locations. 1000 exhibitors are listed, visitors are expected from the entire American continent and from overseas.

As in the previous year, BAVARIA AG will therefore also present itself at this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, known as FLIBS for short. “The U.S. market is very interesting for us, and our “Made in Germany” insurance solutions are well received by customers. We will be even more involved in the U.S. and especially in the Sunshine State in the future. If you look at the boat population between Key West and Jacksonville, these are enormous dimensions,” says Sandra Ahrabian, CEO of BAVARIA AG.

BAVARIA AG will be exhibiting at the joint booth of the Federal Republic of Germany in the so-called Superyacht Builders Tent (booth 767); a team will be out and about on the numerous pontoons at Bahia Mar Marina and in the Superyacht Village at Pier 66.

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is open from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on all days. Exceptions are the first day (from 12:00) and the last day (until 18:00).
