Southern France is one of the centers of international yachting and for thousands of owners their preferred cruising area. Motorboats mix with mega yachts; numerous sailing yacht aficionados also appreciate this illustrious stretch of land. In order to serve these customers even better, BAVARIA AG has now opened an office on the Côte d’Azur – right in the middle of one of the hotspots. In Antibes, in the immediate vicinity of Port Vauban, BAVARIA AG is moving into its premises at Avenue de Verdun 2.

With over 2000 berths, Port Vauban is one of the largest marinas in Europe and named after the fortress builder Sébastien le Prestre de Vauban. It is famous for the so-called “Quai des Milliardaires”, where the largest yachts in the world can moor and do not have to lie at anchor as is common in many places. In this part of the harbor, the International Yacht Club d’Antibes, there is capacity for eighteen yachts up to 160 meters in length.

Sandra Ahrabian, CEO of BAVARIA AG, comments on the expansion as follows: “We have been looking for a suitable location in the south of France for some time, as many of our customers have their yachts moored here. With the office in Antibes, about 25 meters from the quay of Port Vauban, we have an ideal base. By the way, this is not the end of the expansion of our activity abroad.”
