On Saturday, January 17, boot Düsseldorf will reopen its halls and with it the superyacht show.
But which large yachts are worth visiting on board, especially if you only have one or two days available? With the support of our marketing consultant Marcus Krall, who has been observing the scene for almost 25 years, we have filtered out a few exhibits that are definitely worth boarding. All of them are being shown in Germany for the first time.
Astondoa 577 Coupé – World premiere
For four generations, Astondoa has been synonymous with tailor-made luxury yachts “Made in Spain.” The new 577 Coupé is the sporty flagship of the portfolio. The 15.85-meter model combines a semi-enclosed deckhouse with striking lines. At the stern, the yacht opens up to a spacious cockpit with a bathing platform; fold-down side walls transform this area into a spacious beach club. Powered by 800 hp, the 577 Coupé combines powerful performance with comfort. Large hull windows flood the two cabins with light and showcase fine materials such as leather, marble, and the finest woods. Carbon and aluminum details underscore the modern character. The result is a yacht that combines dynamism, design, and exclusivity.
Astilleros Astondoa, Hall 6/A77
Azimut Fly 82 – German premiere
With the Fly 82, Azimut impressively demonstrates how its expertise in large yachts can be transferred to a vessel measuring just under 25 meters. The result is a flybridge yacht that combines luxury and dynamism. The angular silhouette has a sporty look, while spacious living dominates on board: the saloon with floor-to-ceiling windows creates an elegant ambience for both day and evening. In the covered cockpit, the wet bar and dining area invite you to relax and socialize. A highlight is the Deck2Deck system, which raises the stern flap to cockpit level, creating a balcony terrace above the water. Three Volvo Penta IPS 1350 engines, each with 1,000 hp, accelerate the 63-ton yacht to up to 32 knots. The Fly 82 is a well-thought-out statement of modern yacht building.
Azimut, Hall 6/D58
Pearl Yachts Pearl 63 – German premiere
British shipyard Pearl Yachts thinks big even when it comes to its smaller models. The new Pearl 63 replaces the successful Pearl 62 and remains true to its design DNA. The striking zigzag line that runs from the stern to the bow and ends in the flybridge hardtop is particularly eye-catching. The result is a sporty, elegant appearance. The cockpit can be converted into a spacious sun terrace thanks to fold-down side walls. The saloon harmoniously combines a kitchen with bar counter, dining area, and lounge. The owner’s cabin amidships and the bow cabin extend across the entire width of the hull and are flooded with light. Three interior concepts offer individual design options; up to nine berths are possible. Two Volvo Penta engines with a total of 1,350 hp enable a top speed of 33 knots.
Pearl Yachts, Hall 6/A22
Solaris Power 70 – World premiere
With the Solaris Power 70, the Italian shipyard presents its largest model to date – and makes consistent use of its 21-meter length to create space and comfort. The concept extends over two levels and offers a consistently spacious layout from stern to bow. The bathing platform, cockpit, and approximately 40-square-meter flybridge convey a sense of openness and lightness. Wide gangways and a fold-out balcony on the starboard side further enhance comfort. The bow, cockpit, and flybridge offer sunbathing and dining areas for up to eight people. In combination with Volvo Penta engines, ranges of up to 600 nautical miles are possible. The stern garage can accommodate a dinghy up to four meters in length.
Solaris, Hall 6/A42
De Antonio D60 – German premiere
De Antonio Yachts stands for bold design and technical innovation – the D60 takes this claim to a new level of luxury. The Spanish shipyard remains true to its wedge-shaped, dynamic lines, but interprets them in a much more elegant way here. A characteristic feature is the outboard motors concealed under the sun lounger, which combine the advantages of inboard and outboard drives: quiet operation, flexible motorization, and unobstructed access to the bathing platform. With up to 2,400 hp, the 21-ton yacht reaches an impressive 45 knots, and at moderate speed, a range of 300 nautical miles is possible. The stern is a true transformation talent: the dinghy garage and bathing platform can be lowered hydraulically. The generously glazed saloon opens completely to the elements when the windows, doors, and roof hatch are opened. The D60 combines technical sophistication with avant-garde elegance.
