The Cannes Yachting Festival has long established itself as the stage for global yacht premieres. Held just after the summer, when memories of the past season are still fresh, owners are already planning for the year ahead. While the festival is often associated with larger yachts, this year – from 9 to 14 September – no fewer than 53 motorboats between five and fifteen metres in length will make their debut. We’ve selected five standout models and present them in brief below.
Aquariva Special

Axopar 29 CCX
Traditionally, centre console boats were built mainly for anglers – but the Axopar 29 CCX breaks that mould. With a versatile deck layout designed for a range of water-based activities, this 9.3-metre model is highly multifunctional and user-friendly. It can reach top speeds of up to 50 knots and displaces around 2.8 tonnes. Entry-level pricing starts at €66,500.
Beneteau Gran Turismo 40
Measuring 12.53 metres, Beneteau’s new GT 40 is ideal for weekend getaways or longer voyages. Available with either inboard or outboard engines, it promises exciting performance and a deck layout designed for socialising. Inside, it features a stylish owner’s cabin forward and a highly adaptable midships area. A fully equipped bathroom with shower ensures no compromise on comfort.
Bluegame BGF45
At 14.15 metres, the BGF45 draws on cutting-edge technology and expertise from Bluegame’s America’s Cup chase boat programme. Equipped with a foil-assisted system, it delivers enhanced speed, efficiency, and impressive stability. This model offers remarkable onboard space for its size – with two cabins plus a flexible third interior space, a large sundeck, and a refined beach club-style lounge area.
Lancia Aprea 42
Lancia Aprea – the new brand from Fratelli Aprea, launched in 2023 with the 52-footer – will present its latest 42 model at Cannes. Designed by Brunello Acampora, the new yacht mirrors the elegant lines of its larger sibling, now on a more compact 12-metre platform. Details remain limited, but it’s expected the Lancia Aprea 42 will be available with three propulsion options: IPS, outboard, and shaft drive. Below deck, owners will likely be able to choose between two or three cabin layouts.
