As summer slowly draws to a close on the Mediterranean, the trade fair season begins on the Côte d’Azur for all yacht aficionados. From September 9 to 14, the Cannes Yachting Festival will once again kick things off, taking place as usual in the two ports on the world-famous Croisette – the Vieux Port, where the larger motor yachts are exhibited, and Port Canto, with sailing yachts and day cruisers. Shuttles connect the two marinas every minute, making it easy to visit both locations.
More than 200 world premieres have been announced by the shipyards for this year’s festival, with a total of around 750 boats and yachts on display. As usual, anyone looking for a motor yacht around 20 meters in length would be well advised to visit the show. World premieres announced include the Ferretti 940, the VanDutch 75, the Princess S80, the Absolute 70 Fly, and the 70 Sunreef Power. In the category below, it is worth visiting the Itama 54, the Prestige M7, the Solaris Power 60 Open, or the Aicon 50 – these exhibits are also on public display for the first time.
Sailors visiting Port Canto will certainly be interested in seeing the CNB 62, the Hanse 590, and the McConaghy MC68.
